Converging Technologies
While we tend to think of building information modeling (BIM) as the “core of the revolution” in design technology, there are other, related technologies with the potential to change significantly the way buildings are designed and constructed, and that, in turn, may have a significant impact on decisions that building owners make about the built environment, says Contributing Editor Michael Tardif, Assoc.
