If You Are Going to the Convention, Read This!
A unique leadership opportunity, plus newly added courses and some room changes
Summary: If you are one of the thousands of architects who plan to take advantage of the AIA 2007 National Convention and Design Exposition—May 3–5 in San Antonio—as a rich venue for continuing education, please take note of the following opportunities. Also, some of the sessions scheduled to take place on the Expo Floor have proven so popular that they had to be moved to a larger venue, so please check your schedule.
Changing your registration: Changes to continuing education programs, preconvention workshops, tours, and events can be made by using the personal URL address provided in your confirmation letter. (Once your registration packet has been mailed, you can make changes on-site in the AIA registration area.)
1. Unique leadership training opportunity
Sponsored by the AIA Committee on Leadership Education, the AIA Leadership Conference is a four-day learning event where you practice and experience personal development for your leadership style. It offers 14.5 LUs and is recommended for Young Architects. Attendees who register for the AIA Leadership Conference must attend the entire conference (four days) to receive 14.5 LUs. Partial credit will not be given. Attendees who register for WE20 will automatically be registered for SA04 Ethical Leadership, Culture, and Performance. The Saturday session is open to all conference participants.
