Architects Engaged with Civic Leadership The number of architects engaged in public service is low. Using living examples as encouragement for others to follow suit, Stephen A. Kliment, FAIA, this month spotlights three practitioners of color—two architects and one architecture-graduate-turned-planner—who have focused on serving the public good and developed successful careers doing so: William A.
