The Missing Link: Small Buildings and Sustainability Certification
Have you noticed something a little lopsided in sustainable building certification? The smaller the project, the less likely it will be certified. The reason for this, writes Michael J. Crosbie, PhD, AIA, is that larger buildings can better absorb the cost of certification. He goes on to explain how a small-project team can overcome this obstacle.
