  Design-Build Summit to Focus on Great Design
Join the AIA Design-Build Knowledge Community March 8–9 in Kansas City, Mo., for the Design-Build Summit, which features keynote presentations by award-winning architects who will discuss best practices in design using the design-build project delivery method. Tours and sessions will focus on outstanding design, bridging, integrated firms, architecture education, leadership, K–12 schools, and sports architecture. HRC, ACSA Join Forces for Spring Conference
Join the 2007 AIA Historic Resources Committee (HRC) first conference in collaboration with the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) in Philadelphia, March 8–11. The ACSA conference—titled “Fresh Air” and headquartered at the historic Lowes Philadelphia Hotel (in Howe and Lescaze’s landmark PSFS building)—will feature sessions on historic preservation and provide a window into the future of architecture education and practice, which is the future of preservation. The 2007 HRC conference is being organized by the Historic Resources Committee of the Philadelphia Chapter of the AIA, in collaboration with the ACSA conference committee. This conference caps five years of commitment and action by the AIA HRC to advance historic preservation in architecture education. For details, visit the conference Web site.
