AAH Offers “Innovations for Surgical Practice” Webinar on December 7

Summary: Join your colleagues for “Innovations for Surgical Practice,” a new Webinar presented by George Tingwald, MD, AIA, ACHA, and sponsored by the AIA’s Academy of Architecture for Health. The 90-minute Webinar will be held 12:30-2:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 7. AIA members earn 1.5 LUs/HSW for each program.

George Tingwald, an architect and physician, has assembled a look forward to the surgical technologies of tomorrow. If you are challenged to design surgical suites that have longer useful lives and that can accommodate tomorrow's innovations in surgical practice, this presentation will provide valuable information. Are you curious about surgical suite sizes, supporting equipment, the impact that gene therapy may have on surgical practice, the role of digital imaging in surgery, or breakthroughs in anesthesia and related specialties that will affect the future of surgery? If so, don't miss this seminar.

Webinar programs require a computer with Internet access and telephone access for participation. Both programs are being hosted in partnership with the Design-Build Knowledge Community. Each seminar costs $195 per site license. For more information or to register, visit the virtual seminar Web site. Questions? Contact Amanda D’Luhy.
