AIA Small Project Practitioners Call for Entries for the 2007 Small Project Awards
Entries Due December 18

This third annual Small Projects Awards Program recognizes the excellence of small-project design and raises awareness of the value that architects bring to any project, no matter the limits of size or scope. The program recognizes exemplary skill in meeting program intent and requirements as well as achievement of excellence in design in three categories:

  • Projects built for a construction cost not exceeding $25,000
  • Projects built for a construction cost not exceeding $250,000
  • A special category for furniture, fixtures, or detail items with a construction cost not exceeding $10,000.

The Small Project Practitioners Knowledge Community encourages submissions of projects in all building types for new or renovated projects. Architects licensed in the U.S. are invited to submit a maximum of two built projects completed after January 1, 2003. Entries are due December 18. For details, visit the SPP Web site or contact Amanda D’Luhy. (Pictured is St. Peter’s Parish Hall, by Crisp Architects, one of last year’s Small Projects Awards winners.)
