Where there are people, there is conflict. The failure to communicate effectively, or to communicate at all, is a leading cause of conflict’s existence and escalation, states communications expert Ronnie Moore. If not confronted early and well, conflicts will escalate, with the potential to negatively affect an entire firm or organization. We can’t banish conflict from our lives, but we can communicate more effectively through it. It’s a topic that can fill volumes, but you can get a handle on it by using the following five tips.
Call for Entries: 2008 ReBrand 100
AIA members are invited to submit entries by September 26 to the fourth annual ReBrand 100 competition, an international awards competition recognizing the world’s most effective rebrands: “the repositioning, revitalizing, or redesign of existing brand assets to meet strategic goals.” Entries may be rebrands for a product, service, environment, or similarly discrete project or for an entire company, institution, or organization-wide project.
