  2007 COTE Top Ten Green Awards Program Extends Deadline
Registration and submissions now due January 31

Summary: Registration is now open for submissions for the AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) 2007 Top Ten Green Projects awards. The program recognizes the benefits of sustainable design and acknowledges architects as leaders in the creation of environmentally responsible design solutions. COTE encourages architects and their teams to submit their projects for the Top Ten design competition. Now in its 11th year, the program is one of the best-known sustainable design recognition programs in the nation. Winning projects will be recognized with an AIA/COTE award certificate and acknowledged in the national press, on the AIA Web site, and in a lecture at the AIA 2007 National Convention in May.


Schedule

  • January 31: Registration and submission deadline
  • March 30: Notification of the jury decision
  • May 3–5: Exhibition of project boards of award recipients at the AIA 2007 National Convention in San Antonio.

Submission information

  • Registration: Registration is required for each project submitted. Download and complete the registration form and return it to the AIA via fax or mail. (Please send the registration form and payment information separately from the project board.)
  • Electronic submission: Entrants must submit each project electronically. The online entry form includes eight sections to complete, including an area to upload project images.
  • Presentation board: A single presentation board of each project must be submitted by January 31. For board requirements and submission forms, visit the AIA COTE Top Ten Web site.
