Kaplan Introduces First Line of Continuing Ed Architecture Courses

Kaplan AEC Education, providers of exam preparation for emerging and established professionals in architecture, engineering, and contracting, announces its first 20 new online courses developed for the architecture profession and registered by the AIA. The courses are designed to help licensed architects enhance their industry knowledge while meeting the state continuing education requirements for licensure. Course topics include sustainable design, cost control in the design phase, principles of concrete, lighting design, and risk management. The one-to-two-hour online-only courses include a standard reading assignment and a test, as well as shorter quizzes and interactive exercises to further test student's understanding. Courses are available now on the Kaplan Web site or by calling 800-420-1429. Courses cost $35 per credit hour.
