AIA Partners with Chamber of Commerce to Get Out the Architects’ Vote

The AIA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are partnering this fall on a bipartisan program to encourage architects to vote in the general election November 7. The groups have launched www.ArchitectsVote.com, a Web site to help architects register to vote, apply for absentee ballots, and identify candidates in their districts. The Web site was developed through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Vote for Business program. “The Web site is filled with public information that will help the process of getting our members to the polls,” explains Adam Melis, manager for grassroots advocacy.
