Letter from the Editor

Welcome to the January edition of the Academy Update. I hope that you are each looking forward to a healthy and prosperous new year, both personally and professionally. The end of 2014 signaled a transition of leadership of the Academy. Charles Griffin has passed the torch to Tatiana Guimaraes to continue building upon the Academy’s strong foundation of leadership, ushering in new initiatives to advance our profession while respecting past enterprises with continued growth and improvement. Whether or not you were able to attend the Academy Update during HCD 14 in San Diego, please take some time to read the President’s Letter and understand the direction of the Academy as we forge into 2015. I hope you will find the ideas and initiatives to be inspiring, while considering an opportunity to be more involved in the Academy. Our collective involvement directs our collective success.

As always, we value the input and support of our membership. If you have a particular interest for this publication or communications, please feel free to contact me. The quality of this publication is dependent on participation from our valued membership! I hope you enjoy this edition.

Kind Regards,

Marc
