  AIA to Engage State-of-the-Art Personal Profile Software
Member profiles, AIA e-commerce to pause during upgrade

Summary: AIA members will be able to update their personal profile information, manage information/subscriptions to publications, and renew membership on-line using the AIA’s new association management system (AMS), which launches April 27. Also, new members will be able to join the AIA directly through this new system.


However, during data conversion on April 24-27, members will not be able to change or update passwords, other member information, or knowledge community subscriptions. Further, the e-commerce site will be unable to process transactions. The AIA Contract Documents site will process orders through a messaging system that will record requests, which will become orders when the new system is operational. Also note that the national AIA Bookstore will be closed April 28-May 4 because it is operating at the AIA 2009 National Convention and Design Exposition in San Francisco.
