Introducing the AIA National Speakers Registry
Summary: In response to requests for architects to speak at events and continuing education workshops and promote AIA members as authoritative sources of information on the design profession, the AIA has recently launched a national registry of speakers. As an AIA member, you are encouraged to register as a speaker or to use the registry as a resource to find a presenter for an upcoming event.
The registry currently has almost 100 presenters who are available to speak on more than 70 topics—from practice management to effective client presentations, and from disaster preparedness to historic preservation. Many presenters are veterans of Knowledge Community conferences or AIA National Convention programs.
The AIA National Speakers Registry is offered as a service and not an endorsement of the speakers or their approach to their subject matter. Once organizations have found a speaker of interest, negotiations for fees and expenses are conducted directly between the organization and the speaker.
Register as a speaker
Creating an account and online profile is fast and free. You’ll be asked to provide contact information, brief information on your professional background, and specific areas of expertise for presentation topics.
Engage with a speaker
The registry provides users with multiple ways to search for speakers.
Once you have found a potential speaker based on your search criteria, simply contact them and finalize the arrangements.
