Fellows Award Program
The 2003 Fellows will be invested at Kahn's Salk Institute in La Jolla during the AIA national convention. The AIA Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship programs were developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Advancement to fellowship is one of the highest honors The American Institute of Architects can bestow upon an architect. Full Story

Are Your Buildings Green on the Inside?
Participate in LEED™ for Commercial Interiors
In mid-July, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) launched the pilot phase of its newest green building rating system: LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED CI). The USGBC wants to identify 50 projects to shape LEED CI by testing the newest green building rating system in real-world settings. Those interested in taking part in the pilot should submit an application by August 30. Pilot documents, including the LEED CI rating system, also are available on the site.
