Group convenes in Orlando March 10–13
Join the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health at the 2008 International Conference and Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design, and Construction in Orlando, March 10–13, 2008. The conference offers a new format for attendees along with a mission of being more environmentally friendly, visible in this year’s theme: “The Business of Sustaining Our Future.” An opening session with keynote speaker David Suzuki and Vista Award presentations will be held March 10. Change the World: Harnessing BIM Technology and Integrated Project Delivery for Sustainable Design
Take part in this pre-convention conference, May 12-13, in Boston
Trends in design tools, building technology, construction delivery methods, and sustainable practice are converging toward a common path. Join the AIA Integrated Practice Discussion Group, Committee on Building Science and Performance, and Committee on the Environment for an exploration of the application of building information modeling (BIM) related technologies, integrated project delivery, advanced design, and building technologies to achieve sustainable practices. The cost of the conference is $300; 14 HSW LUs are available for full attendance (no partial credit is offered).
