Celebrating Excellence in Residential Design
The AIA Housing Awards emphasize the importance of good housing as a necessity of life, a sanctuary for the human spirit, and a valuable national resource. Sponsored by the AIA Housing and Custom Residential Knowledge Community, the awards program is now in its eighth year and has acknowledged more than 100 projects. Awards are in four categories: One- and Two-Family Custom Residences, One- and Two-Family Production Homes, Multifamily Housing, and Special Housing. As the AIA continues its efforts to support sustainable design and green practices, submissions for the 2008 AIA Housing Awards will be paperless. All entries and supporting materials will be submitted online. Entries are due December 14. For more information and an application form, visit the AIA Housing and Custom Residential Web site.
