GSA Offers Courthouse Design Conference June 1 in D.C.
The U.S. General Services Administration Commissioner of the Public Buildings Service and the Chief Architect invite you to join them on June 1 in Washington, D.C., for a national conversation on federal courthouse design as it has evolved under the GSA’s award-winning Design Excellence Program. The day-long event, free of charge, will include an assessment of the courthouse portfolio by Pulitzer prize-winning architecture critic Robert Campbell, FAIA, and a keynote address by Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. The gathering will conclude with an open discussion on how the design excellence program can best meet the needs of the federal judiciary and the American people to create appropriate and inspiring federal courthouses in the 21st century. The conference offers 8.5 hours of AIA continuing education credits. For more information or to reserve a space, e-mail gsaforum.rsvp@gsa.gov.
