  Get the Scoop on Architect-Led Design-Build
AIA and DBIA team up to present advanced seminar series

Summary: The AIA and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) have teamed up to present a series of seminars directed at architects and offered in eight cities across the country for 2007. The program will be taught by two leading experts on design-build: Dorwin A.J. Thomas, FAIA, DBIA, an architect who was chair of the AIA Design-Build Advisory Group (in 2004 and 2005), and Craig H. Unger, DBIA, past national president of DBIA and a former Federal Bureau of Prisons executive.


No two organizations are better suited to come together to deliver the most current, relevant, and highest-quality education on architect-led design-build. Seminars are scheduled for:

  • Louisville: April 13
  • Atlanta: May 18
  • San Diego: June 8
  • Rochester, N.Y.: June 22
  • Pittsburgh: September 21
  • Boston: October 12
  • Orlando: November 16
  • Denver: Date TBA
  • Washington, D.C.: Date TBA.
