Vote Online for the History.com City of the Future
Chief
Jurist Daniel Libeskind leads the finale to The History Channel
competition to find the best 22nd-century concept among first-stage
winners for New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles. In its City
of the Future competition finale, The History Channel is turning
to the general public to judge a winner from among three finalists.
The competition—supported by the AIA to increase public awareness
of the power of architectural imagination—puts head-to-head
designs by Architecture Research Office, UrbanLab, and Eric Owen
Moss Architects, respectively. Set in the 22nd century, the design
concepts imagine a century of human innovation to meet the environmental
and social problems we face today. Visit the competition Web
site to vote from now until February 3, 2007.
