Summary: The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is sponsoring on November 17 a post-conference seminar called "Successful Project Documentation for Sustainability" at the GreenBuild International Conference & Expo in Denver.
CSI is the national association of specifiers, architects, engineers, contractors, and material builders that provides technical information and products, continuing education, professional conferences, and product shows on all disciplines of building design and construction.
The half-day seminar focuses on the basic concepts of documentation
to achieve sustainability; appropriate technologies used in the design
process to develop sustainable facilities; how standards such as
UniFormat, Master Format 2004 Edition, GreenFormat, and OmniClass
are used in the documentation process; and how LEED® requirements
are used in the business process by the owner, designer, contractor,
and supplier. The seminar is Friday, November 17, 1–4 p.m.
The cost is $150.
Greenbuild is the annual meeting place for the green building industry. Thousands of green building industry professionals will come together for three days in Denver to learn about the latest advancements in green building design, construction, project financing, and building management.
CSI Offers Webinars
CSI also offers Webinars—90-minute interactive telephone/Internet seminars—each Tuesday at 2 p.m. on topics related to building design and construction. Most courses qualify for 1.5 Learning Units (LUs). Participants are charged by site, allowing professionals to share the cost. The cost per Webinar is $170 for CSI members, or $270 for non-members.
