International Competition: Design a Sustainable World

The Royal Institute of British Architects-USA announces “Building a Sustainable World: Life in the Balance” international competition to design a “maximally sustainable community addressing our global warming crisis,” sponsored by Autodesk and Gibbs Smith Publishers. The competition aims to address directly and immediately the impending and current environmental problems upon us and is intentionally open to entrants’ imagination and strengths. All teams must have an accredited architect from the locale of their submitted entry. Registration is open until December 31; entries are due February 1, 2007.
