AIArchitect Wins ASAE 2008 Communication Gold Circle Award

AIArchitect recently was honored with the 2008 Communication Gold Circle Award, the American Society of Association Executives & The Center for Association Leadership’s award recognizing innovative ideas and achievement in association communication campaigns. Recipients are selected for “demonstrating excellence in communication in the categories of print publishing, writing, electronic publishing, media relations, and emerging communication vehicles.” AIArchitect received the top award for “electronic membership periodical or e-newsletter of an association with an annual budget greater than $2 million.”

Additional bragging rights for members: The AIA was one of 19 associations honored with Gold Circle Awards, chosen from 373 entries representing 248 organizations. The AIA also received an Honorable Mention for “How Design Works for You,” the micro-Website for clients detailing how to work with an AIA architect. And congratulations to the AIA Washington Chapter, which captured a Gold Circle for its print magazine, Architecture DC. Recipients will be acknowledged at an awards ceremony during ASAE’s annual meeting in San Diego on August 16–19. To view the award-winning entries, visit ASAE’s Web site.
