Volunteer Needed to Serve as Healthcare Webinar Leader
The volunteer is responsible for the Academy of Architecture for Healthcare (AAH) knowledge community webinar program. The Academy hosts monthly webinars presented by architects and design professionals tailored to healthcare design professionals. The volunteer leader is responsible for identifying and recruiting presenters who can speak to a webinar audience of clients, consultants, or colleagues on topics directly related to the healthcare profession at large, including but not limited to design, policy, local and global communities, and the remunerative “value impact” that healthcare architects can impart above and beyond “just drawing buildings.”
Duties:
- Find, contact and schedule healthcare architects, consultants and other professionals who have a knoweldge of healthcare architecture and concerns facing the profession.
- Provide guidance to potential speakers on tailoring presentation to Academy members as needed.
- Ensure that presented topics meet AIA continuing education health, safety and welfare requirements.
- Create the annual webinar calendar with topics of relevance to healthcare architects and designers.
- Participate in monthly webinar orientation calls and live events with presenter(s), webinar facilitator and AIA staff as needed.
- Strive to maintain or exceed annual revenue projections.
- Work with AIA staff to facilitate webinars with professional meeting facilitator.
- Keep Academy Advisory Group members informed of developments.
