  Miami’s Jade Ocean Condo Takes Hurricane Resistant Glass to New Heights
New ideas about materiality, ocean vistas, and luxury condo living are taking root in Miami with the Jade Ocean high rise. This 50-story beachside condominium building is believed to feature the first pure glass curtain wall to be tested and approved for hurricane force winds and flying debris in the nation. 

AIA Releases New Version of AIA Contract Documents Software
AIA released AIA Contract Documents software version 4.2, featuring the new C191-2009 Standard Form Multi-Party Agreement for Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), which provides for a collaborative business relationship among parties involved in a design and construction project without forming an LLC. With this new agreement, the parties execute one coordinated and integrated agreement that clearly sets forth the parties’ roles and responsibilities in delivering a project consistent with the principles of IPD.
