  Volunteering to Help During the Furlough

Summary: Members and state and local AIA component colleagues once again graciously stepped forward to serve as points of contact during the national AIA all-staff furlough scheduled August 3–7. During that time, the national component staff will not be available and our offices closed until 8:30 a.m. EDT on Monday, August 10.


We created a comprehensive online self-service resource page that provides direct links to information and how-to guidance for the products and services important to your membership. Please visit the self-service resource page, where you’ll find links for specific information in more than 15 subject areas. Additionally, AIA Contract Documents offers online resources that anticipate many of the technical issues and content guidance you need in preparing your contracts.

Finally, our generous volunteers will be available to answer calls and e-mails during business hours, if you are unable to get your question answered using the online resources. Their contact information will be listed at the online resource page. We are confident this rich array of content and self-directed assistance will help you find the support you need, when you want it.
