Supplement Your Convention Expo Experience Virtually
This year you have access to exhibitors on-line

Summary: The AIA 2009 Convention and Design Exposition has a new feature in addition to live streaming programs direct from San Francisco. Members will be able to visit up to 75 product and service exhibitors in their virtual booths, view educational programs, chat with booth personnel, enter any exhibitor raffles, and download brochures, all from your Internet-connected computer.

You can register for the virtual exhibition now by visiting the registration site. Within minutes you will get a confirmation e-mail with details on how to sign in for the virtual experience April 30-May 2.

Later, you will receive a login link by e-mail to use during the live-event days, when you will have free access to:

  • A variety of daily Speaker Sessions in the Auditorium
  • The Show Floors with exhibitor booths
  • Networking Lounge for discussions on show exhibitor products and general networking.

Further, to bring some of the convention experience to members who might not be able to make it to San Francisco for the full experience, the AIA will provide live streaming video of the theme sessions and a number of the education sessions. Arrangements are under way. Watch future AIArchitect editions for details.
