2008 AIA Practice Management Fall Conference Takes Place in Chicago

The focus of the 2008 AIA Practice Management conference, October 15–17 in Chicago, will be “Leveraging Your Resources: Doing More with Less.” The conference, sponsored by the AIA Practice Management Committee, will be held in conjunction with AIA Chicago, AIA Northeast Illinois, Society for Design Administration, and American Society for Quality. The conference will provide tangible resources and take-home tools, using actual spreadsheets, databases, and management skills created through hands-on sessions and workshops. These tools will be geared toward small and midsize firms, but will be scaleable for the larger firm platform. The AIA Practice Management Knowledge Community is offering two scholarships for young professionals to attend the conference. For more about the scholarship and an application form, visit the Practice Management Web site. Stay tuned for additional conference details.
