Vote for Your Favorite City of the Future by April 28

The History Channel’s 2007 City of the Future competition was sponsored in part by the AIA and featured 24 design teams in Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; and Atlanta showcasing their visions for what each city would be like 100 years from now. The winners—Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners LLP in Washington, IWAMOTOSCOTT Architecture in San Francisco, and EDAW/Praxis 3/BNIM/Metcalf and Eddy in Atlanta—were selected by a jury in each city. Now, the History Channel is asking architects and the general public to review the three regional winning projects and vote for the overall winner. When you vote, you will be entered automatically in a sweepstakes. A 50-inch, flat-panel plasma HDTV and Sony Blu-Ray player are involved. To vote, visit the History Channel Web site before April 28.
