  Public Architects Hold Training Workshop May 14 at the AIA Convention in Boston
The AIA Public Architects Knowledge Community invites you to join other public-sector architects from all levels of government to discuss public architecture business and practice. This one-day preconvention workshop explores the roles and responsibilities of architects who are involved in the design of public buildings, as well as some of the latest ideas in public architecture. Concurrent sessions allow attendees to customize their learning experience. Participants may earn 6.75 AIA CES LUs, including up to 4.5 health, safety, and welfare (HSW) credits for attending the entire workshop. AIA IFRAA to Hold Study Tour in Rome

Join the AIA IFRAA Interfaith Forum of Religion, Art, and Architecture for a study tour of one of the world’s most significant religious capital. Attendees will experience firsthand the masterworks of Bernini and Borromini, as well as those of such contemporary masters as Renzo Piano and Richard Meier. Guided by Dr. Donald J. Bruggink, Hon. FAIA, Hon. IFRAA, this conference presents a unique opportunity to explore Rome with other architects, clergy, artists, and designers. Among the many sites, tours will include: St. Peter’s , San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane, the Pantheon, Church of Sant Ivo, Parco Della Musica , S. Maria della Victoriam, and Dio Padre Misericordioso.
