AAH Sponsors Two Webinars This Fall

Research in Today’s Architecture Practice
Join the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health for the Research in Today's Architecture Practice, Part 1 Webinar, October 18, 12:30–2:00 p.m. ET.
Webinar leaders D. Kirk Hamilton, FAIA, FACHA, associate professor, Texas A&M University; and A. Ray Pentecost III, PhD, AIA, ACHA, vice president and director of health-care architecture, Clark Nexsen Architecture & Engineering, will explain why research should be a part of today’s architecture practice. They will also outline a simple method for incorporating research “thinking” into the normal project development sequence to emphasize how easily research can find a home in virtually every design project. The cost is $195 per location; each person who attends the Webinar can earn 1.5 LUs of AIA/CES credit. To register, visit the Webinar Web site.

Design Strategies to Reinvent the Imaging Experience
The AIA Academy of Architecture for Health also is proud to present the Design Strategies to Reinvent the Imaging Experience Webinar, November 15, 12:00–1:30 p.m. ET. Morris A. Stein, FAIA, FACHA, will explore new strategies from architecture and industry that will help to reinvent the overall imaging experience for all participants, including patients, families, and staff. By understanding how imaging technology will be developed and how it will affect health care, architects can examine new opportunities beyond basic "how-to." The cost is $195 per location; each person who attends the Webinar can earn 1.5 LUs of AIA/CES credit. To register, visit the Webinar Web site.
