New AIA PodNet on Multifamily Housing Liability
With greater demand for urban housing has come greater demand—and
revenue—for architects who design multifamily residential projects.
Along with the benefits, however, have come greater legal risks and
a spate of construction-defect lawsuits targeting not only builders
of condos but the architects who design them. Recently, construction
law specialist Bill Quatman, Esq., FAIA, and Victor O. Schinnerer’s
Frank Musica, Esq., Assoc. AIA, spoke with the AIA Podcast Network’s
Scott Frank, director of AIA Media Relations, about risk management
for multifamily housing construction.
