SDAT Proposals Due November 30
Elevate sustainability in your community with the Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT) program

The AIA Center for Communities by Design’s SDAT community assistance program has issued a request for proposals, open until November 30, to provide an integrated design- and policy-based assessment for participating communities. The SDAT will bring a multidisciplinary team of volunteer professionals to work with community decision makers and stakeholders to help develop a vision and framework for a sustainable future. The SDAT program is based on the AIA’s goal of helping communities create a sustainable relationship among humans, the natural environment, and place. The AIA will provide up to $25,000 in cash and in-kind contributions per SDAT in 2007. Communities will provide a $5,000 cash match as well as contribute other resources to the process. For more information, visit the AIA.org SDAT page; contact Erin Simmons, program manager, AIA Center for Communities by Design, esimmons@aia.org; or call 202-626-7492.
