Have Badge—Will Travel
Do it the easy way at the National Convention in LA

Set yourself free from the worries of driving in Los Angeles and arrive to your session with ease by riding the AIA shuttle buses or Los Angeles’ mass transit options. Attendee badges are required for all tour buses and on the shuttle bus. For special events and tours, please have your registration itinerary or event invitation with you as you board the bus.

Shuttle Buses: Regular service operates between the Los Angeles Convention Center and almost all convention hotels on seven numeric and color-coded shuttle routes. (The two hotels not served, the Figueroa Hotel and Holiday Inn City Center, are within a few minutes’ walking distance of the convention center.)

Shuttle bus schedules will be posted in the convention center, lobbies of all convention hotels, and in your convention program. Los Angeles Convention Center shuttle buses depart from the Figueroa Street side of the South Hall. Signs will be posted in the hotels to direct attendees to these departure areas.

Professional and guest tours: Unless noted otherwise, tours depart and return to the Los Angeles Convention Center South Hall lobby. Please arrive at the Los Angeles Convention Center Tour Departure area located in the South Hall lobby 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. During peak periods, the staging area may be busy with a number of tours, the shuttle bus, and special events. Additionally, all tours provided by the host chapter on Sunday, June 11, will depart from the Westin Bonaventure. (Shuttle service to Westin Bonaventure is only provided to and from hotels in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Universal City.)

World Party (Host Chapter Party): Buses will transport guests along all shuttle routes and the Los Angeles Convention Center directly to Olvera Street Plaza on Thursday, June 8. The first bus will leave each hotel at 6:00 p.m. and do continuous loops until the last buses depart Olvera Street Plaza at 11:30 p.m.

Metro & DASH Routes: Most hotels and the Los Angeles Convention Center are accessed via Los Angeles’ Metro (subway) and DASH (bus) routes. Host-chapter-provided maps of these routes will be in your registration bag. Information also will be available at Los Angeles Information Desks in the south and west lobbies.
