AIA Officer Nominations Open; Filing Date Is April 7  

Elections for the Institute’s next first vice president/president-elect, vice presidents, and secretary will be held in at the AIA 2006 National Convention and Expo in Los Angeles in June.

The candidates who have declared for the 2006 elections are:

First Vice President/President-elect

  • Paul D. Boney, FAIA (AIA North Carolina)
  • Marshall E. Purnell, FAIA (AIA Washington, D.C., Chapter)
  • John C. Senhauser, FAIA (AIA Cincinnati)

Vice President

  • George H. Miller, FAIA (AIA New York Chapter)
  • Miguel A. Rodriguez, AIA (AIA Miami)

Secretary

  • Glenn H. Fellows, AIA (AIA Albuquerque)
  • David R. Proffitt, AIA (AIA Central Kentucky).

The deadline for declaring candidacy and satisfying other candidacy requirements is 5:00 p.m., April 7. AIA members interested in declaring their candidacy should contact AIA General Counsel Jay Stephens, Esq. or Senior Director of Governance Administration Pam Day.
