The latest issue of AssociateNews, the electronic newsletter of the National Associates Committee, is up and running on the AIA Web site. This issue centers on the AIA Grassroots Leadership and Legislative Conference to be held February 9–12 in Washington, D.C. “This conference brings together the most influential minds of the AIA to discuss, plan, and learn,” writes Ana Guerra, Assoc. AIA, 2005 Associate representative to the AIA Executive Committee, in her editorial “Grassroots Leadership Guidance.”

“Grassroots is the place where I met many of the peers who have guided and encouraged me on my path to leadership,” she notes. The newsletter also contains registration information and explanations of Grassroots people and programs, as well as news on the AIA convention in Las Vegas in May, the AIA Committee on Education upcoming conference, and more events of interest to Associate members.
