AIA Chief Economist Kermit Baker to Discuss Construction Trends at Outlook 2005 Executive Conference

McGraw-Hill Construction invites AIA architects to attend the Outlook 2005 Executive Conference, October 27–28 in Washington, D.C., where AIA Chief Economist Kermit Baker, PhD, Hon. AIA, will discuss construction trends from the architect’s perspective. The conference brings together executives—from design and contracting firms, industry associations, and major building product manufacturing firms—who are interested in getting the vital information they need to solve real business challenges.

Robert Murray, vice president of economic affairs for McGraw-Hill Construction, will present his 2005 Construction Outlook, which has become a mainstay of business planning for construction and manufacturing industry executives. David Wyss, chief economist for Standard & Poor’s, will provide additional insight into U.S. and global economic trends that will affect the construction industry in 2005. And special guest Mark Shields, syndicated columnist and moderator for CNN’s The Capital Gang, will share first-hand accounts and impressions of the current state of Washington politics.

Register before September 3 to take advantage of an early registration discount. Visit McGraw-Hill’s Web site, call 866-727-3820, or send an e-mail.
