ASID Presentations Proposals for 2004 Programs
Due July 31

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) invites professional subject experts from the design community to submit proposals for 2004 informational and educational programs, conferences, and events. Selected speakers will have the opportunity to share their expertise with peers across design disciplines, and across the U.S. and Canada.

Program submissions should address one of the following broad categories:
• Sustainable design
• Universal design/aging in place
• Security/privacy/safety
• Health, safety, and welfare
• Recent developments in the design specialties (e.g., hospitality, health care, or contract)
• Recent developments in the business of design (e.g., managing a design practice, growing a design practice, metrics, marketing, or client relations).

Possible venues for the coming year include the 2004 ASID Annual Conference, March 4–7, 2004, in Savannah; ASID roundtable discussions, to be held in major metropolitan areas across the U.S.; ASID Leadership Conference, Summer 2004, in Washington, D.C.; ASID offerings at NeoCon® events; and ASID continuing education programs. (If accepted, speakers will be added to the society's database for potential presentations at ASID chapters and other continuing education providers).

ASID members and nonmembers are encouraged to submit proposals.
To access the "Call for Presentations" document or submit a proposal online, visit the ASID Web site. The deadline for receipt of all proposals is July 31.
