02/03 Members-only Articles?

Designed to complement the AIA’s new Web site, www.aia.org, the new AIArchitect will bring you fresher news, incorporate more interactive features, and offer new services, such as a direct link to the Kiplinger Letter. The biggest change you will notice is that some of the articles are accessible only to AIA members. When you click on the “go” button to access such a story, a prompt will ask you to log in with your eight-digit AIA member number and your password (which is your last name in all lower-case letters, plus appropriate spaces or apostrophes, e.g. smith, jones, penney, macnamara, o’toole, del canto.)

If you click the box labeled “Remember my password,” YOU ONLY HAVE TO LOG IN ONCE! Your computer will open any AIArchitect article you choose after your initial successful login. If you don’t know your member number, follow the instructions on the prompt, send an e-mail to AIA Information Central, or call them at 800-242-3837.

We’re counting on the fact that you will consider links to exclusive stories an enhanced benefit of AIA membership. Try it out, then let us know what you think via e-mail.
