Lead a Diversity Workshop at Build Boston
Proposals due March 1 for November event

Architects, interior designers, landscape architects, facility managers, students, educators, interns, consultants, business leaders, psychologists, artists—and everyone else—are invited to submit workshop proposals by March 1 for the Diversity Conference, November 19–20. This “conference within a conference” will explore diversity in the design professions and is part of Build Boston 2003, the 19th annual building industry convention in that city.

The Diversity Conference, cosponsored by the AIA Diversity Committee and Build Boston, aims to challenge the design profession’s status quo, spark meaningful dialogue and discussion, introduce new research and theories, and look at the diversity puzzle from societal and ethical positions. The conference will highlight programs that share best practices to increase the diversity of the professions significantly by 2010.

Build Boston is a convention and trade show for design, building, and management professionals sponsored by the Boston Society of Architects. It annually draws 12,000 building industry professionals from throughout the U.S. and abroad.
