Enter the 2003 AIA Photo Competition,

Slide entries are due April 1

Sunrise," Lake Tahoe, by Christine Bingham, Assoc. AIA.AIA St. Louis once again presents the AIA Photography Competition, open to all architects, AIA associate members, and AIAS members in the U.S. The top 15 entries will be exhibited at the 2003 AIA National Convention in San Diego, May 8–10. Additionally, images for the American Architectural Foundation’s 2005 Engagement Calendar will be selected from all submitted entries (and include the 15 award winners).

Cash prizes will be
• First place, $500
• Second place, $400
• Third place, $300
• Louise Bethune Award, $200 (named after the first female American architect; the subject of this award must be located in the U.S.)
• Digital Category, $200.

La Roue, Paris, by Cynthia D. Saunders.No image will receive more than one cash award. The subject matter must have an architectural theme or must contain some element of the manmade environment. Images previously published and/or pending publication or cash-winning images in previous AIA Photography competitions are not eligible. Please note that only 2-inch x 2-inch 35mm color slides may be entered (even for digital photography), and that all entries must have been exposed by and be owned by the entrant.

The entry fee is $15 for AIAS members, $30 for AIA members, and $50 for nonmembers. Entrants may submit up to five slides for each entry fee, and may enter as many times as they like.
