TV's New Fall Schedule Includes a Sure Winner:
206 Spots of AIA Ads

September 17 kicks off the eight-week flight of the AIA's fall television advertising campaign, which will feature 206 spots, up significantly from the 72 showings during the spring. The currently soft media market allows the AIA to retain the same network schedule as in the spring, while adding a hefty portion of cable programming as well.

As in the past, the commercials will run on CBS's Sunday Morning; NBC's Saturday Today and Evening News; and MSNBC's Brian Williams, MSNBC Investigates, Headlines & Legends, and Weekend Dayside. This fall, the 30-second commercials also will be seen on such targeted shows as HGTV's Homes Across America, This Old House, Old Homes Restored, and Dream Builders.

The plan will allow the AIA to reach 102,000,000 households of people with an annual income of $75,000 or greater, the targeted audience.

Because the networks release the exact times the ads will run only a few days in advance, the AIA will post the times on the portal regularly, as they become known. Check the Institute Update Box on the professional side of the portal regularly, www.aia.org.

If you have questions about the TV ad campaign, please contact AIA Communications Managing Director Chuck Hamlin, 202-626-7411.
