The
James River Chapter of the AIA has named the recipients of several of
its awards programs. The organization honored associate AIA members and
other nonlicensed employees of AIA James River Chapter member firms with
its Sunday Prize. Entrants were limited to those with fewer than 10 years'
working experience. The James River Chapter also named the recipients
of its Design Awards; the Marcellus Wright Jr. Award, its highest service
honor; and the James River Chapter Citation, which honors members or nonmembers
who have made a significant contribution to the chapter's built environment
or to the public's understanding and awareness of the built environment.
