Obituary

Charles D. "Chick" Grant, AIA, died June 9.
A principal with Nichols Carter Grant Architects in Atlanta from 1977 to 2000, Grant was responsible for his firm's design involvement with Amelia Island Plantation, Sawgrass, Grand Cypruss Resort, Orchid Island, and Sandestin Resort during his 23 years with the firm. At the time of his death, Grant was the vice president of development for the West Florida operations of Arvida in Seagrove Beach, Fla.
