District of Columbia Requests Proposal for New Neighborhood Development

The Government of the District of Columbia's Redevelopment Land Agency requests proposals from developers for the redevelopment of Parcel 1, the 3.2 "Wax Museum" site near the heart of downtown Washington, D.C. The site is to be redeveloped for mixed-use, with a minimum of 400 mixed-income residential units, retail, and public open space.

A bidders' conference will be held on the site 15 days from issuance of the RFP (which was issued May 14). For a copy of the RFP and a developer's kit, call (202) 442-7280, or visit www.dcbiz.dc.gov. The submission deadline is July 27.
