Construction management faculty position
Tenure-track assistant professor, construction management program, Michigan State University. Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD in construction management, architecture, architectural engineering, construction engineering and management, civil engineering, or a closely related field. Professional registration or eligibility for registration is required. Experience in the construction industry, teaching, and scholarly activities is preferred.

Expertise to teach and/or develop commercial and residential construction technology undergraduate/graduate courses such as materials, methods, equipment, and estimating is required. Developing an externally funded research program, advising graduate students, publishing in scholarly journals, and performing outreach/service functions are expected. Development of industry- and housing-related extension programs is also expected as approximately one-third of the effort.

CMP offers BS (ACCE accredited) and MS degrees and annually enrolls approximately 230 undergraduate students and 20 graduate students. It enjoys a strong reputation within the construction industry.
