National Associates Committee Announces New Awards Program
Nominations in four categories are due April 16

The AIA's National Associates Committee (NAC) has created an awards program to recognize those who significantly help AIA associate members and their colleagues in their pursuit of personal and professional goals.

The categories for nomination are:
• Chapter of the Year-Associate Level Award, the highest award given by NAC to an AIA chapter for the development of superb programming for-and fostering the highest qualities of leadership within-its associate membership
• Associate of the Year Award, the highest award given by the NAC to an individual associate AIA member who best exemplifies the highest qualities of leadership and has demonstrated unparalleled commitment to his or her chapter's or region's membership
• Associate Mentorship Award, to an AIA member who has made an extraordinary effort to promote the advancement of associate members in their chapter or region
• Special Accomplishment Award, to individuals or organizations that have developed unique and successful programming for the promotion of associate members at the local or regional level.

Nominees must be AIA or associate members and meet eligibility requirements for the specific award. Nominations are due at the national AIA headquarters by April 16.

Award winners will be announced at the AIA convention in Denver, May 17–19, and profiled in the NAC newsletter and AIArchitect.
